Free Streaming in iTunes 4
OSXFAQ Reader Tip By James Kelly
If you use Applescript script menu, you can find it inside
/Applications/Applescript directory..
you can launch a script to connect to your mac at home and stream your
mp3's
First enable applescript menu by finding it and doing:
sudo cp -rf "Script Menu.menu" /Library/StartupItems/
Then you can open up the directory /Library/StartupItems and click on
it to start it up.
This puts a script menu at the top of the menu bar.
Write the below applescript in Applescript editor and drop into the
"scripts folder"
tell application "iTunes"
open location "daap://yourmacsIPaddress"
end tell
