OSXFAQ Reader Tips
Hierarchical Menus In Mac OS X - The Next Level
OSXFAQ Reader Tip By Tony Eterno
An extension of yesterday's pop-up, hierarchical menus in Mac OS X's
dock tip...
Organize your favorites into sub categories by creating folders in your
favorites folder and naming folders/subcategories however you think most
helpful (for example: Applications, Internet, Multimedia, Documents,
Utilities, etc.)
Then drag your favorites folder in the dock. That give
you a quick menu/submenu access to the apps and docs you use most.
Items can be quickly added by dragging them to he favorites icon in any
finder window's toolbar.
A quick click on the favorite icon then lets you file the alias you just
created into the correct subfolder/subcategory.
Enjoy :-)
If you would like to see your tip here send it to us at contribute@osxfaq.com, You could be famous too!!
