OSXFAQ Reader Tips
There Are 2 Prefs For New Window Locations! - In Mac OS X.
OSXFAQ Reader Tip By Arion Paylo
I just realized that there are two different settings for new window defaults.
One is for when you double click the hard drive and the other is for when you
hit Command+N to make a new window.
- 1 - Do the standard close all windows
- 2 - Make a new window by clicking the hard drive
- 3 - Set this window up as you'd like and close it
- 4 - Hit Command+N to make another new window
- 5 - Set this one up differently from the one you just did
- 6 - Make new windows by either method and you will see they come up differently. This might be usefull if you have use 2 different prefered window views. Cool!
Enjoy :-)
