Rob joined IDG World Expo as Vice President in 1999, after eight years of service with the IDG family. Rob's current responsibilities include overseeing the company's sales, marketing and product management initiatives, as well as new business development. His personal mission is to grow and expand IDG World Expo's current events while developing and launching the great channel-integrated tradeshows of tomorrow. Rob has extensive experience managing world-class IT events. Prior to joining IDG World Expo, Rob served as show director at MHA Event Management/IDG Expo Management, where he produced the Macworld Conference & Expo . Rob also served the company as director of research and development, director of marketing and director of operations. Outside the office, Rob enjoys taking on additional responsibilities. He is founder and executive director of the Sandra Anne Foundation, a non-profit organization serving underprivileged, physically and emotionally challenged children nationwide. He also founded two real estate ventures, and has been a licensed real estate agent in Massachusetts. Rob earned his BA in marketing and entrepreneurial studies from Babson College. Andrew Shalat is an experienced graphic and web designer and a recognized authority on digital imaging, graphic design, and new media. He has served as art director of several publications, including Digital Imaging magazine, and has contributed articles and reviews to MacWorld and MacWeek magazines. He is currently an instructor of advanced web design at Cal State University Long Beach. His design clients include MedTech USA Software,Cushman and Wakefield, and Cycle Reebok. Christian Pickman is the producer of Inside Mac and he brings 5 years of radio experience to the show. He is the guy you talk to when you call in, so be nice to him !!!! Greg Douglas - Director of Network Operations
Gregory Douglas has fifteen years of experience in the radio, television and computer- related areas. He was the Director of Network Operations for Personal Achievement Radio, which included responsibilities for the production, operation and distribution of the "PAR" format. As the primary individual in charge of the on-air sound for "PAR", Mr. Douglas interacted with the motivational authors, Nightingale-Conant, ABC Radio Networks, PAR O & O's and affiliates and the broadcast talent. He pioneered the transition to digital for the flagship PAR studios. In addition, Mr. Douglas was M.I.S. Manager for Douglas Broadcasting Inc. where he was responsible for the traffic and business computer functions as well as the computer networking of DBI/PAR radio outlets. Previously, he was the General Manager of DBI's Seattle operation and Station Manager at WBPS-AM in Boston. Also, Mr. Douglas has been involved in almost all areas of broadcasting, including traffic, business, engineering, production and sales.
