Dr. Mac's OS X Tip-of-the-Day
Dr. Mac - More Jaguar Scroll Wheel Tricks.
By Bob LeVitus
Since this week seems to have become somewhat the scroll-wheel week,
here's another one about scroll wheels and Jaguars, this time from a
patient named Steve, who said:
> I discovered something cool the other day that I have not
> seen written about anywhere. First my system.
>
> I am running Jaguar and my mouse is a Logitech
> scroll mouse with the latest software.
>
> Go into a QuickTime movie. Start it playing. Now
> move the scroll wheel. It will advance or rewind the movie
> one frame at a time. Click on the mouse and the movie will
> proceed as before.

Not until you showed me! But you're right - it's pretty cool. I'm not
sure if it'll be useful, but it's definitely cool.
By the way, it works with my Kensington TurboMouse Pro and its driver
software, and also with an IntelliMouse Explorer hooked up to my
PowerBook with no additional driver software. So I am pretty sure
whatever makes it work is somewhere within Jaguar.
Give it a shot.
