Dr. Mac's OS X Tip-of-the-Day
Want to Drive your Apple Floppy Under Mac OS X ??
By Scott Sheppard - Editor-in-Chief - OSXFAQ
The Doctor is SICK this week and I am filling in for him. If you all have any requests
or want to share something with everybody please send them to me at:contribute@osxfaq.com
This little tip is from our friend Randy Singer, The "Macintosh Bible" Guru.
This is what randy sent us....
>If you have one of the early beige G3 Macintoshes that came with an
>internal floppy drive, you know that it does not work under OS X. Here
>is a source for drivers for Apple floppy drives (i.e. OEM Sony,
>Mitsubishi, or Panasonic floppy drive mechanisms attached directly to the
>motherboard controller of your Macintosh.)
>
>(Note: These drivers won't work for third-party USB or ATA floppy drives.)
