Tristan Harris Announces Mac OS X version of his popular Bibliographer software

Tristan Harris' leading MLA style bibliography generation software has reached version 1.1 and has been carbonized for Mac OS X. The new version, available off of his website, contains many new features and interface enhancements. The program takes advantage of the beautiful Aqua interface in Mac OS X and sports aqua-like graphics and feel. Supporting Book, Encyclopedia, URL, Magazine, Interview, TV/Radio, Speech and Video entries, Bibliographer is the #1 choice for bibliography generation software on the Mac OS X platform. Best of all, it is completely free.

Among the many new features of the software, Bibliographer now supports contextual menus which can be used to edit, copy, move, and delete entries. It adds a degree of user intuitiveness not found in Bibliographer version 1.0.

Bibliographer can also smart-alphabetize the bibliographical entries, smartly knowing to skip words such as "the", "a" and "an" in the alphabetizing process.

New with version 1.1, Bibliographer can smoothly integrate with other word processing applications. Exporting a bibliography to a text file allows the user to change and tweak the bibliography to his or her liking. One can also individually copy specific entry text to paste into their favorite word processor.

In addition to all these great features, Bibliographer supports custom entry and title fonts and font sizes for the generated bibliography. It even supports the "creator information" of the bibliography typically found at the top left corner of an MLA based document.

Each new entry dialog also contains a "show example" button to let the user know how to fill in each entry.

And of course, bug fixes have been made, improving performance and stability throughout.

The software is available for download at Tristan Harris' website.
