OSXFAQ Mac OS X Tip-of-the-Day
Expose - Maximise onto a Clean Desktop
By Adrian Mayo - Editor - OSXFAQ
Open a document onto a clean desktop, with other windows still under
Expose.
You must minimise the window first, then hit F11. Click the minimised
window in the Dock, and it will maximise onto an empty desktop with all
other applications and windows still hidden by Expose.
You can also launch an application onto a clean desktop, by applying a
few cunning Expose tricks. First, select any application that has no
windows open, then hit F11, F10, and launch an application from the
Dock. The application will launch with all other applications still
hidden by Expose. May or may not be useful, but a neat trick
non-the-less.
Another useless trick - hold down the shift key with F9/F10/F11 and you
will get the Genie slo-mo effect in Expose.
Hold the tab key down for 5 seconds after pressing F9/F10 for a
roller-coaster ride.
Enjoy !! :-)
