Spotlight - Spotlight-Expose Freakyness
Try this. Open a Smart folder and make sure the view mode is Spotlight Group view, and that the view options are set to Group by Kind. (See the previous tips.)
Assuming you have some images in the folder, click the play button for a slideshow.
Play the slide show or manually step through the pictures using the controls as the foot of the screen. You can even add pictures to iPhoto from there.
And the Expose part? Press the index button and all images are shown on screen together, arranged and scaled Expose style. Neat.
