Time-Savers - Desktop, Dock, and Finder Printers

By Adrian Mayo - Editor - OSXFAQ

Add a desktop printer, a Dock printer, and a Finder Printer.

Desktop printers are back (as of 10.3?) and can easily be created using Printer Setup Utility in Applications:Utilities.

Instead of using the Create Desktop Printer menu, simply drag a printer to the desktop. Whichever method you use, the resulting Desktop Printer is simply a shortcut to Home:Library:Printers:the-selected-printer.

Add a printer to the Dock, or to the Finder's left pane, by dragging the Desktop printer to the Dock or Finder.

Enjoy !! :-)
